AccessConsulting can trace its inception to a partnership Sikander and Zohair formed back in 1992 which had its primary focus on Executive Search and OD services.
 Zohair Ashir is also a Founding Partner of the firm. He has over 20 years of experience in professional services with expertise in Human Resource, Marketing, General Management and Social Policy. He has served as technical consultant to major donor agencies including leadership positions on projects for USAID, the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, DFID, and UN agencies. In the private sector he has led assignments in HR, Strategy and Research for Citibank, State Bank of Pakistan, Standard Chartered Bank, ABN Amro, Nokia, GSK, ENI, BHP Billiton, Unilevers and others.
He has also worked as a senior executive with the Aga Khan University Hospital, Baptist Memorial Hospital and Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance Company in the USA. He holds a MHA from University of Minnesota, and undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Memphis State University, TN in the USA.
He leads the firm’s practice in Pakistan and also is an Executive Director for the Dubai venture.
 Sikander Gulzar is a Founding Partner of the firm. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Australia and Pakistan with over 25 years of global experience with professional service firms and within the multinational pharmaceutical sector.
Sikander’s expertise is in areas of Corporate Finance, Strategy, and Inward Investment Advisory. He was the head of Human Resource for Pharmacia and Upjohn in Pakistan and also led the Human Resource and Technology consulting practice of Grant Thornton in Pakistan. As the International Practice Partner of Grant Thornton from 1991 to 2001, Sikander was a team leader for mandates initiated by the head offices of various organizations in Singapore, Dubai, Amsterdam and Cyprus. Such organizations have included American Express, ABN Amro, Artal Foods, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Sheikh Nahyan Consortium of Abu Dhabi, and many more.
He is based in Perth where he leads the Access Consulting ventures in Australia along with strategic responsibility for the UAE region.
