POSITION SUMMARY

To supervise and strategically plan the sales and marketing function aggregating the sub-functions of Retail & Gaseous Fuels, Aviation, Marine, Exports, Cards & Non-Fuel Retail Businesses, Brand management, Industrial Consumer & Lubricants-Chemicals to capitalize on market opportunities to further drive revenue and earnings growth.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

  • MBA and or Engineering Degree, preferably a combination of both.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

·        At least 15 years progressive experience in multifunctional roles with at least last 5 years as Head of Marketing in a large multinational/reputed national organization.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

·        Determine business needs, envision solutions, prioritize strategic initiatives and materialize company's vision into the market place by introducing innovative business solutions.

·        Enhance company image by adopting aggressive marketing and promotional strategies, making strategic alliances and building corporate social responsibility activities.

·        Regular assessment of the entire portfolio of POL products to advice as member of management on deletion of obsolete/non-value products, identify products that need revitalization and gaps which need to be plugged by new offerings. 

·        Maximize company profits and minimizing operating costs by cutting expenses and by rationalizing non-performing outlets to achieve outstanding marketing performance.

·        Enhancing and maintaining the quality management system to further achieve the standards of ISO certifications.

·        Exploring the areas of new alliances, agreements, adding accounts and lubricants for business development.

·        Explore synergies and supervise the substantial volume and growth earnings of the large network of outlets (through out Pakistan) equipped with modern facilities.

·        Achieve and exceed, sales and marketing targets for all products.

·        Keeps abreast towards products and company image enhancement campaigns, events and festivals, sponsorships in the corporate and sports sector for branding and sales promotions. 

·        Build, train, motivate and mentor highly successful cross functional teams to generate outstanding performances.

 

REQUIREMENT

·        Excellent leadership and Interpersonal skills.

·        Proven track record in delivering results through team-based working.

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.

·        Result-driven, highly organized and attentive to details.

·        Thorough knowledge of all POL product and industry awareness.
